Originally for strings only; woodwinds and horns added later.
The 2 flutes appear in mvt 2 only, where the oboes are tacet. (Probably in the 18th century the oboists would have doubled on flute.)
Packard ed. by Ekkehard Krüger & Tobias Schwinger, from the C.P.E. Bach collected edition (in progress); parts for this edition will be provided in PDF form, to be printed out by the user.
