Players move in procession from place to place, onstage and offstage, while playing. Many other special effects.
This work, originally published by Belwin and awarded a Pulitzer Prize in 1968, has changed hands a number of times. It is now (2016) controlled by EMI (distributed in the US by Schirmer). Scores are also for sale by Peters and Kalmus.
