Both editions specify solo flutes; however, recorders were intended by the composer. Both editions call for 2 bassoons, but only bn1 is soloistic; the bn2 merely doubles the continuo line.
2nd mvt scored only for solo ob (or violin) and solo bn (no accompanimental strings).
