There appears to be no structural difference between the advertised "original version" (Kalmus A5715, a reprint of Fürstner) and the "concert version ed. by F. Hoffmann" (Breikopf, reprinted Kalmus A2245). In the latter, however, the 2nd flute also doubles on piccolo; that is, flute distribution for the Hoffmann version is as follows: 3[1.2/pic.pic].
