The attribution of this work to Bruckner is not universally accepted; some scholars believe it to be by Mahler. The originzal manuscript is lost. What survives is a preliminary sketch for the score, prepared by Rudolf Krzyzanowski. From this, Wolfgang Hiltl and Benjamin Gunnar Cohrs prepared this version.
