Dvořák arranged 12 of his 18 love songs for voice & piano, Cypresses, B.11 <1865>, for string quartet in 1887, as Cypresses, B.152; of these 12 string quartet mvts, Josef Suk arranged 10 for string orchestra (Nos 1-9, & 11).
The English titles given here are found in this arrangement, and differ slightly from the English translations found in the aformentioned versions of the work.
