Previously believed to have been completed and orchestrated by Jean Roger-Ducasse in 1919. However, recent scholarship suggests that the work was structurally complete and supplied with orchestration indications in Debussy's hand in 1903, and that Roger-Ducasse merely prepared the work for publication, perhaps with the assistance of André Caplet.
