Gran duo concertante, Violin & Double Bass (arr. Ludwin)

Specific information available for subscribers.
Arranged for string orchestra by Norman Ludwin. Original in A major, with the expectation that the double bass will use traditional solo scordatura; therefore the solo bass part is written in G major.
Ludwin also offers the performance material in G major, in case the solo bass prefers orchestral tuning. However, this means the solo violin part must also be in G major; Ludwin has adjusted the violin part where it would otherwise go below the normal range of the violin, but other awkward passages may occur in this transposition.
