Ballet version of this Hans Christian Andersen fairytale. The tin soldier remains steadfast in his love for a little dancer through many misfortunes. They both perish in a fire; all that remains of the soldier is a lump of tin melted into the shape of a heart. Possibilities for audience participation exist.
