Specific information available for subscribers.
Introduction, theme, 7 variations & Finale modelled on a Mazurka by Józef Elsner.
The only known surviving part of the original work is the autograph solo violin part. A realization with piano accompaniment was made by Guisto Dacci in the late 19th century. Spada retains the original violin part, takes into account the Dacci realization and incorporates his own free compositional elaboration.
