Selected from Paraphrases, a collection of 24 pieces by various Russian composers for piano 4-hands (?1874-1878) based on the children's theme Chopsticks. Tcherephin selected 8 mvts (by César Cui, Franz Liszt, Alexander Borodin, Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov & Anatol Liadov) and freely orchestrated them: Nos.1, 1a, 5, 9, 4, 11, 7 & 13.
Orchestral piano necessary in addition to the solo instrument.
