The clarinets in the last movement are in C.
Known as
Little Russian because of its use of Ukrainian folksongs. In Czarist times, Ukraine was referred to as "Little Russia." The term began to gain a derogatory sense only after Tchaikovsky's death, and now might be considered offensive to Ukrainians.
