Reconstructed from Tchaikovsky's sketches by Semyon Semyonovich Bogatïryov. (The composer had already drawn from these sketches for the 1st mvt of his unfinished Piano Concerto No.3. Sergey Taneyev fashioned two other concerto movements from the same source, published as Tchaikovsky's Andante & Finale, op.79, q.v.)
