Serenissima edition by Clinton F. Nieweg & Stuart S. Serio.
NB: The tenor tuba part is written in bass clef, but perversely as a B-flat transposition—contrary to customary usage. However, a C-transposition of the tenor tuba is included in the Kalmus set.
It is said that the original ending of the work was soft, and that the composer changed it. Supposedly the original ending may be heard on a recording conducted by Fabio Luisi with the Staatskapelle Dresden.
