Jonathon is sad and lonely because he doesn’t have a pet. He goes to search for one, and encounters Gingery Snare, the snare drum. Gingery then introduces him to all the percussion family: Tympanoceros, Xylodactyl, Wood Blokes, Gonk, the Saw-Toothed Ratchet, and many others. Jonathon adopts all of them, and he is never lonely again.
