Robert Levin (1994) provides an Amen fugue, and makes many changes in orchestration and structure.
Clarinets play only in the
Sanctus and the two iterations of the Hosanna; the bulk of the Requiem is for basset horn. Alternative clarinet parts are provided to be used in the absence of basset horns.
